Interested in joining the Information Theory and Coding Group?
PhD scholarships and postdoctoral research fellowships are available in the field of information theory. These positions isare aimed to providing a unified framework for the study of finite-length information theory.
The positions are funded by the European Research Council and the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. Specific research topics include (but are not limited to) the finite-length analysis of:
- Joint source-channel coding
- Mismatched decoding
- Multiple-access and broadcast techniques
