Li PENG received the Bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications with Telelcommunications Engineering Major in 2008. From 2008 he is a PhD candidate of University of Cambridge under the supervision of Prof. Albert Guillén i Fàbregas. He is currently a visiting student at the Information Theory and Coding Group, University Pompeu Fabra. His research interests lie in the area of joint source-channel coding, rate-distortion theory, bit-interleaved coded modulation, mismatched decoder.
He is funded by China Scholarship Council, Cambridge Overseas Trusts as well as the research grant of Prof. Albert Guillén i Fàbregas.
