Interested in joining the Information Theory and Coding Group? We seek motivated and talented doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers with a strong mathematical background to perform research in the area of Information Theory.

The broad theme of our research is the mathematical foundations of information processing, spanning the fields of Information Theory, Coding Theory, Communications Theory and Signal Processing. Its aim is to study the fundamental limits for reliable data communication and compression, along with schemes and processing algorithms that allow one to achieve them. Multiple research areas are available for Ph.D. students motivated to accept challenging problems.
